December 2007 - Forum Update

What follows is an exchange of letters between Bob and myself that occurred when Bob took offense to some of my writings. It is an interesting interplay of views on two sides of the political spectrum concerning God, abortion, and our environment.

Dear Alan:

Please don't send me anymore of your BS. You go ahead and die for your beliefs and let your family die with you. If I can save a million lives including my family by water boarding someone, step back and watch the water flow. Jesus can punish me later and I will accept my punishment.

To my amazement, I do agree with you on a couple of things. Your dream world idealism, however, and in particular in a war with terrorism would mean our nation would last about three minutes.

We are already too far down the slippery slope to change anything. Ron Paul, if he were the God you think he is, would simply be assassinated while in office. It isn't GATT that is killing this nation as much as it is apathy, hedonism, lack of religious faith and a "I", "ME" mentality and LIBERALIZM (the Z is on purpose).

No doubt GATT and NAFTA are helping the process.

You are obviously a human being causing global warming, while I am not. I personally know two great scientists who would completely disagree with you that man is causing global warming. It's funny that you see GATT as a culprit but you don't see Global Warming liars as being even more dangerous. They are trying to bring about a one world government by having a world organization (The U.N.) control the environment; which means controlling the production of every country on earth. There is your New World Order.

Your arrogance is blinding you to many things I think. No one writing in will convince you of anything, because you are too brilliant and way above anyone else. That is your problem. I'm sure you have received some well reasoned replies, however, in your mind, you are absolutely right and just like a good liberal, anybody disagreeing with you is stupid, or lazy, or incompetent, or?

Your thinking is as dangerous as the people you call traitors. Traitors come in many colors and stripes.

I spent four years in the military and 33 years in law enforcement and I can tell where you are coming from. You HATE BOTH; which most liberals do.

I'll bet you never served in the military and wouldn't consider serving in law enforcement, as people like you all know that the police are ALL corrupt and brutal.

In thirty-three years of risking my life on the streets and dealing with people who would no doubt cower you in a corner, I received only one citizen complaint. That was for hitting and armed robber in the head with my gun instead of shooting him as I could have done legally had I been so inclined. Of course the complaint was unfounded, however, someone like you would have probably said, I should have simply asked him nicely to stop charging at me. As a last resort I should just let him kill me as that is what Jesus would want me to do.

Go out and put yourself in physical danger over and over again and come back in a couple of years and see if you are still spouting your same rhetoric about tasers.

People like you amaze me. You sit back in your comfortable homes or offices and criticize those out there protecting your ass. While you, yourself wouldn't have the guts. Critics have the EASIEST job in the world. They don't have to take any risks, they don't have to produce anything, they don't have to spend any capital, and all they have to do is criticize. Great life!

Good luck in your dream world. You will get your New World Order, but it won't be from GATT. It will be from your own left. The interesting part of it is, after they have used you, they will no doubt kill you. That is also the M.O. of the Communist/Fascist. Use dupes and when you are done with them, kill them as they are traitors to begin with.

Don't bother to reply. I already know what you are going to say. I have heard it from liberals like you for years and years.  As brilliant as you think you are, there is nothing new you can possibly come up with that I haven't heard. (Sounds kinda like you doesn't it).

Bob

Dear Bob oh Bob, why do you chastise me so?

As requested, you have been removed from my mailing list.

If you wanted to find out more about me all you had to do was visit by website at http://www.constitutionforum.us and you would have found out many things that you wrongfully accuse me of. You can also read my bio by clicking HERE. If you do, you will find out that I am an ex-Navy fighter pilot (VF-11, USS Forestall) that served this nation during the Viet-Nam war. By clicking HERE, you can learn about my stand on environmental issues.

There isn't much else I can say other that you obviously are very angry person who accuses me of a lot without knowing anything about me, my accomplishments or what I really stand for. I have been fighting the New World Order since 1996 when no one yet was standing up to do the same. If you don't think that takes courage then you truly are out of touch with reality. In 1983 as an employee of the City of Fort Lauderdale, I stopped the Utilities Department from dumping sewage sludge into the river that ran through out City. For 18 years I worked in a hostile environment while my superiors did everything they could to fire me. So don't talk to me about courage. If you care for a free copy of the book I wrote about my experiences as a city employee and my early battles against the New World Order go to my website. My book is the link at the bottom of the Homepage entitled, "While We Sleep - A Story of Government without Law".

Yes, in my mind I am absolutely right because no one has written me with a well reasoned reply. No one, zero, nada, zilch, not even you! Instead of spouting off your hate and venom, why don't you try? On my website I even openly challenge those who are still stupid enough to be proud to be an American to write and tell me what is left to be proud of. To read my challenge go HERE and scroll down to August 2007. Perhaps you will put your money where your mouth is and meet my challenge. Before doing so please read "The Curse of the Proud American by clicking HERE and the series of articles that are entitled "Let's Fire Our Government by clicking HERE.

In closing, be advised of the following:

I support law enforcement and the fine people who serve the nation in this profession.

I am not a coward and have risked much standing up for what I believe.

I am not a liberal. I am a conservative and a constitutionalist whose beliefs mirror those of our Founding Fathers.

I am a patriotic American who loves my country and its people. The only problem is that coup has taken place and our government has been overthrown. This being the case, who's the patriot, you or me?

For any American to endorse torture as a legitimate tool of government, even to save his sorry and pathetic ass, then that American has handed the terrorists their greatest victory, because we have become one with them. And yes, this is even true when it comes to saving the lives of our families.

Have a nice life,

Alan Adaschik

P.S. I would like to publish you letter on my website anonymously, if you wish. Do I have your permission? Please advise!

Dear Alan:

I most sincerely apologize for my comments about your service. You are right. I didn't look at your bio and made assumptions I shouldn't have. I greatly admire and respect anyone who has served in the military. I think I have a special respect for pilots. I flew small private aircraft and can't even imagine the skill, knowledge and courage it takes to get into a fighter jet, (though I sure would have liked to try it in my younger years).

I worked in internal affairs on the police department during my last five years of service. I retired as a lieutenant in 1992. I have a law degree and practiced law for seven years part-time while working as a police officer. When I saw how corrupt our legal system is and its attorneys, I quit and surrendered by license to the California Bar Association.

One of the things I cannot tolerate is a "bad" cop. i.e.: any cop that is dishonest, abusive, overbearing, or uses his badge inappropriately. However, I see far too much criticism of the police, particularly when faced with riots and other violent situations.

Stand there and take verbal abuse, have urine, fecal matter, paint and God knows what else thrown on you, and then because you strike someone with a baton or taser them, be accused of police brutality. Particularly, when an unlawful assembly has been declared and people told over and over again to disperse. If one would expect someone not to react in these kinds of situations, then we need robots as police officers. Human beings are not meant to take this kind of abuse. I have been involved in a number of riots and I can tell you, that you are extremely outnumbered and scared, because you know that if you get isolated you are likely to be stomped, perhaps to death.

I have a number of points that I agree with you on and a number that I don't. The environment is one in which I disagree. I believe that we may not agree on abortion. Your absolute stand on torture is something else I don't agree with you on. Don't get me wrong, I am not for wholesale torture that has been perpetrated against American servicemen in nearly every war we have fought. But under certain very limited circumstances, I am for water boarding, or certain psychological pressure, like keeping a light on in a room, or sleep deprivation. I am not for whipping, beating, pulling out fingernails, utilizing electrical shock, squirting coca-cola up the nostrils, etc.

But to make it a policy of the United States that we would NEVER resort to any kind of pressure in interrogations, simply lets the enemy know that if you are captured you don't have to worry about a thing, even if you possess information and your enemy knows it, that could result in the death of hundreds or even thousands of people. You may come off as more moral than I am or think I am irrational, but I would think the same of your position. If I could save thousands of lives by water boarding, or sleep deprivation, I would do it in a flat minute and you could throw me in jail for it. But I believe most people with any common sense would agree with my position far more than they would with yours.

To act like terrorism is simply a crime committed by individuals rather than a huge conspiracy and that we should run around the world and try to capture perhaps thousands of individuals and bring them to trial as we have trials in the U.S. would be impossible. American attorneys would love it, they could greatly enhance their incomes at taxpayer expense. Assuming we could even run around the world and capture thousands of terrorists and bring them back to this country for trial, our legal system could not bear the burden. It would collapse. We already have months that go by before a trial in many cases. For example, O.J. won't go to trial until sometime in the Spring.

Much of what you say about the Constitution is very true. I also agree that there are a few of the elite who are undermining this country. But you are "whistling Dixie" if you think you can dissolve Congress, fire the president, etc. etc. This is only wishful thinking and certainly not reality based, particularly so in view of the apathy and tolerance for corruption on the part of so many today.

As I mentioned previously, I have two very good friends, one a physicist-astronomer, the other a geneticist-biologist with whom I attend Bible class, who would greatly disagree with you about mans involvement with global warming. I have also found numerous other scientists who would not agree with you. Yes, there are terrible things being done to our environment by some governments, individuals and corporations. But it is the sun that is causing our warming and most likely on a cycular basis. Core samples taken at the poles from several hundred feet (going back centuries) indicate that temperatures were warmer then than now.

We cannot even accurately predict the weather for several days, let alone predict it in fifty years. I think you give whatever scientists you choose to believe far too much credit.

Yes, I am one of those nuts who believe that global warming is a method to bring about the one world socialist government you say you are against. Once the United States submits itself to a "World Court" who will decide what our country can and cannot produce and in what amounts we are in big trouble.

Well, enough. I doubt that we would ever agree about everything.

I am just praying for the return of Jesus Christ as quickly as possible so He can sort it all out. He is the only one who can bring about perfection on this earth. We are too involved with our own egos, sin and corruption to do it.

I wish you success in your endeavors and would just say to you that we will have to agree to disagree. I again apologize for my caustic remarks and ignorance of your service. I hope that you can forgive me for that. I do not apologize for my points of view, however.

Bob

Dear Bob:

Apology sincerely accepted.

You certainly sound like you had and interesting and rewarding career in law enforcement and I congratulate you for that. In no way am I anti-police, anti-government, or anti-military. Presently, my daughter-in-law and her family are visiting us here in Ormond Beach for Thanksgiving. We are particularly overjoyed that Christopher, their son, is also with them because Christopher just returned from his 1st tour of duty in Iraq. He is 100% behind the war and what our government is trying to accomplish over there. Of course, I disagree with him, but seriously limit our discussions in this regard out of respect because He is fighting for his country and for what he believes. However, on the other side of the coin and left unsaid is that I feel that this is true for most of the people we label insurgents that our young men and women are killing over in Iraq. In other words, like in most conventional wars, good people die on both sides of the conflict and the real bastards behind it all get rich off of their diabolical manipulations.

I think the real differences between you and I are that you are a cynic and I am an optimist. However, I have to admit that you are probably right and there isn't much that any of us can do to change things. Having said this, please understand that my faith in Jesus and love for God will not permit me to just sit back and do nothing. I will probably fail, but that is not the point. The point is that I live my life being part of the solution and not part of the problem. This is the only road to salvation. I truly believe that our government has been overthrown from within and to pledge allegiance to this state of affairs is abomination before God and our fellow man. America is at a cross road, and all of us should stand up and be counted. Unfortunately, the situation is such that most won't get the message or if the do, will live in denial because the truth is so repugnant to believe.

Like George Bush would have us believe, I think you give terrorists far too much credit and credibility. While it is true that, because of Israel and our support of that religious state, most Arabs are sympathetic to their cause. However, prior to our invasion of Iraq, while real terrorists were an annoyance, they could do very little real damage and could be handled as a law enforcement issue. Of course 9/11 was their greatest victory, but remember, this coup was accomplished with box cutter knives and could have and should have been prevented. Talk about a stupendous blunder on the part of law enforcement. This one took the cake. But no matter, it still remained a law enforcement issue but this wasn't good enough for King George. He wanted a conventional war on terror in Iraq and because of him we certainly have one along with growing legions of terrorists more than willing to blow themselves up to get those 40 virgins. Perhaps you are right here also and there is nothing that can now be done to reverse things...but Jesus says we should try. And in our trying, He also says that we should not become what we despise most because if we do, we will surly be condemned.

No one can say with absolute certainty that global warming is the cause of presently climate problems. However, what can be said with absolute certainty is that man's doings produce green house gases and pollution. It is also true that, that they more men you have, the more gases and pollution are produced. Therefore, while global warming may not presently be due to the doings of man, it certainly could be if world population levels increase to some undetermined critical degree. These are indisputable facts that I am sure you will agree with. If not, then there is very little point in going on. In any case, the world's population is presently 6 billion people and is projected to be 9 billion by 2050, just forty-two short years away. Do you really believe that we will have a sustainable world environment with 9 billion people spewing their poisons onto the surface of this puny and finite planet? I hope you are right and we are not yet at the critical stage that most scientists say we are, but this being the case, the time to act is now before we get there and to not act now is madness of the first order. Please read my article, "Our Environment" at: (main_environment.htm).

Yes, I am also sure we disagree on abortion also. As a Christian, I am against it. However, as a Christian and an American, I fully understand that it is wrong to force my bel
