The last true American President the people of the United had was President
John F. Kennedy. How can I make a statement this absurd? By examining
what the man said and believed. Yeah sure, when do politicians tell us
the truth? John Kennedy did, especially when he said, "The same
revolutionary beliefs for which our forefathers fought are still at issue
around the globe -- the belief that the rights of man come not from the
generosity of the state but from the hand of God."
Who are the Presidents that followed John Kennedy? Lyndon Johnson, Richard
Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Bill
Clinton, and George Bush, The Decider. Can you imagine any of these Presidents
saying that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state
but from the hand of God?
I think that all who followed Kennedy subscribed to a system of beliefs
best postulated by our most “infamous” of recent
presidents; Bill Clinton. When not spending time figuring out how he could
get into the pants of the unfortunate women who worked for him, good “Ole”
Bill, somehow found time to make the following brilliant statements:
-
The purpose of government is to rein in the rights of the people.
-
There are a lot of very brilliant people who believe that the nation
state is fast becoming a relic of the past.
-
If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the
government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit
those guarantees.
-
If we’re going to ask Mexico to give up a little sovereignty,
why shouldn’t we give up a little too?
-
People suffer not because their governments are too strong, but because
their governments are too weak.
-
We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary
Americans.
Who cares what Bill Clinton said? He was an idiot and a sexual pervert
who just happened to become President of the United States. Surely, this
Nation has recovered from the one President who just happened to be committed
to our subjugation? However, if this is the case, then how do we explain
this quote by President George W. Bush (the first Bush President),
“It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter
to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance."
While I am troubled by this quote by the former President Bush, I take
refuge in the fact that the present President Bush has not yet similarly
telegraphed his ignorance about the oath he took upon entering office
and his responsibilities to the people of this Nation. On the other hand,
I do not know of anything said by him that comes close to matching what
President Kennedy said while in office. Despite this, I am sure we can
trust George Jr. to not violate his Oath Of Office and our Pledge of Allegiance
by placing allegiance to international organizations above and before
his allegiance to this Nation and the people who pay his salary?
I must confess that I am confused by all of this, but what confuses me
even more is another quote by President Kennedy when he said, "The
high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy
America's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizens
of their plight." Why would John Kennedy, the sitting President
of the United States, say something like this? Just what in God’s
name was he talking about? Think about it. A President of the United States
of America, while in office, told us that he would soon tell us that we
are in serious trouble because a group of people are using the influence
and power of the Presidency to destroy our freedom and subjugate us. Who
are these people and what are they doing?
We will never know the answer these questions with certainty because
President Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald before revealing
anything. However, if we examine recent events affecting this Nation,
it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who President Kennedy
was talking about. With him out of the way, these people have succeeded
in achieving their goals and all we have to do to identify them is examine
the fruits of their labor. Furthermore, a similar warning by Dwight D.
Eisenhower, John Kennedy’s predecessor, also gives us a clue.
On January 17, 1961, President Eisenhower, the former Supreme Commander
of Allied Forces in Western Europe during WW II, the former military commander
of NATO, and the former President of Columbia University, after forty-six
years of public service in his farewell address to the Nation as its President,
said that the basic purpose of our government is to keep the peace, foster
progress in human achievement, and enhance liberty, dignity and integrity
among people and among nations. However, at the time, President Eisenhower
was concerned that there were forces at work in this Nation working in
contradiction to these noble goals. To warn the American people about
the nature of these forces he stated, “In the councils of government,
we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether
sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential
for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. Only
an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of
the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful
methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”
President Eisenhower, although justified in his concerns, was short-sighted
in describing them. The real threat to liberty and democracy in America,
at the time, was not the military-industrial complex, but more accurately
something far more reaching; the corporate-governmental complex or more
appropriately stated, the union of government and corporate forces to
an extent where corporate influence is the dominant force in American
politics at the expense of the Nation and its citizens. This was the real
threat that was alluded to by President Eisenhower and it was a group
of these multinational corporate globalists that President Kennedy had
in mind when he spoke of his warning to us.
Proof of the above is manifested in the words of Bill Clinton and George
W. Bush while in office, is manifested by our membership in the World
Trade Organization, a business organization whose rulings, edicts, and
laws supersede those of our Congress and Supreme Court, and is manifested
by the recent passage of the Patriot Act where his Highness, The Imperial
George Bush, tore our Bill of Rights to shreds to protect us from the
terrorists his administration failed to protect us from prior to 9/11.
Why is it necessary to suspend the Bill Of Rights now, when government
officials then, had all the tools they needed to prevent this tragedy,
including reports from field agents that something was up?
A fundamental concept adhered to by our founding father when drafting
our constitution was that our government would be a government of the
people, by the people and for the people. At the time, large corporations
did not exist. The only entities of significance around were the people,
our government, and the press which served as a watchdog for the people.
The Constitution was drafted in keeping with these realities and served
the Nation well for the first 200 years of our history. The problem we
face today is that corporations now own and control the media, while multinational
corporations through the power of the almighty dollar, control most governments
of the World including ours. When drafting our Constitution, our founding
fathers never envisioned or considered the rise of corporations as a political
force such that their power and influence would transcend national boundaries
and exceed that of the governments that chartered them.
The prime purpose of government is to govern. The hallmark of good governing
is the promotion of fairness and justice in the affairs of man. The prime
purpose of a Corporation is to earn a profit. To earn profits, corporations
seek advantage in the market place and look to capitalize upon the weaknesses
of competitors. Therefore, the purposes of governments and corporations
are in contradiction to each other and this leads us to the self-evident
conclusion that governments, chartered to represent the peoples best interests,
should always be above and superior to Corporations which only represent
the interests of their owners. Unfortunately, in our World today, this
principle has been grievously violated. This is what President Kennedy
was about to warn us before he was murdered. Furthermore, we have also
been warned to guard against this possibility by our Founding Fathers
and many other great men of vision throughout our history. Today, all
these people are not just turning over in their graves, they are spinning
like tops because this Nation, instead of being the shining example of
Republican Democracy that we once were, has now become a financially insolvent
shell populated by an oppressed and subjugated people. The irony in all
this is that as citizens, we pay the salaries of those who have done this
to us.
Who is to blame for our present state of affairs? We are to a certain
degree, but as a diverse and hard working people, we could do little to
prevent what has happened to us. We also can lay some of the blame on
the rich industrialists who pull the strings that make our politicians
jump and dance to their tune, but they bear no direct responsibility for
our plight because they only did what comes natural to them; seeking advantage
over others. In truth, there are two entities that are directly responsible
for our subjugation because they more than anybody where trusted with
the reins of our government; the Democratic and Republican political parties.
They, more than any other group of people, know what this Nation stood
for in its past, know the dismal extent of our present situation, and
most important, for a few pieces of silver, sold us out by taking the
steps that led to our subjugation.
Presently, we are in midst of a National Election. We now have a chance
to turn the tide of history and take back the government that has been
stolen from us. How? By voting for a third party candidate; any third
party candidate no matter who he is or what he stands for. An incompetent
jerk as President, if he was honest, would be far better than the President
we now have and the others that immediately preceded him. Alfred E. Newman,
the “What Me Worry” kid of Mad Magazine fame, used
to run for President when that magazine was popular. His campaign motto
was, “Vote For me. You could do worse; you always have”.
While this was said as a joke, it is no longer funny as far as George
Bush and John Kerry are concerned. When voting this coming November, remember
that these two front men bow to the same master and a vote for either
of them is a vote for our dismal status quo; subjugation, demagoguery,
legal lawlessness, corruption, lies, deception, insolvency, unemployment,
the trashing of our Constitution, and the dumbing of the American people.
